GM's Chevy Avalanche comes to an end with 2013 model

GasBuddy Blog -- When GM launched its Avalanche in 2002 it was a trendsetter. And now just a decade later it is being eulogized.

USA TODAY reports "the heavily styled pickup will get one more year before it disappears and Chevy has come up with a special edition to celebrate. It's being called the 2013 Black Diamond Avalanche.

It would be an understatement to say that things haven't gone well for the Avalanche, a full-size pickup that hasn't evolved much since its inception.

Okay, the Camino sits 2 or 3 depending on buckets or bench. I think it'd be difficult to put a second row in an El Camino frame and body. Some may say that the retro look is passe, but retro rocks!
